Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Division is the world’s largest infrastructure asset manager with growing portfolios in real estate, agriculture and energy. Its client base primarily comprises global pension and superannuation funds, but also includes other institutions and governments. The division is recognised for its expertise over the investment lifecycle, with a strong capability in investment sourcing, business management and investor relationships.

Interns will have the opportunity to:

• Work in the infrastructure investment team in Beijing, which focuses on infrastructure assets acquisition and management in the PRC
• Support the acquisition activities of the business and assisting with operational and portfolio management work
• Sit side-by-side with business leaders, learn on the job and make a difference by working on critical projects

Requirements:

• We are looking for university students currently studying Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
• Excellent spreadsheet skills including exposure to cash flow and ration analysis
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, proactive and able to deliver against challenging targets with limited supervision and direction
• Strong analytical, numerical and presentation skills
• Fluency in English (spoken, reading and writing) and Mandarin
• Have a strong understanding of business issues and be commercially astute
