一、电气工程师

Part I - Reporting Structure

Job Title: Electrical Engineer 

Reports To (Position): During the Installation and Commissioning, the resources will report and work directly at WEIHAI construction site. Before and after the resources will need to report to a local office 

 

Part II – Position Objective

Coordinate all disciplines to manage the installation, start-up and post start-up service activities of thermal processing equipment(Carbon Fiber Lines) at Rongcheng, Weihai, China

 

Resolve technical issues, communicate with client(s) and company HQ to ensure that projects are completed per specifications, with the highest quality, on schedule and within budget.  There is a heavy emphasis on project coordination, customer liaison and problem solving so as to provide superior value-added service to clients. 

 

Part III – Job Responsibilities

Essential Duties

Establish, develop and manage relationships with vendors and customers in order to serve as liaison to company.

Develop and maintain a working knowledge of company technology, equipment, and quality systems to technically support installation, start-up and service activities as well as resolve in-field technical and quality issues.  Repair and adjust minor electrical components/systems as needed.

Solve complex problems and quality issues with little or no supervision in a time efficient manner and at a nominal cost.   Analyze and report technical, quality and commercial issues with specificity.

Gather, collect, document and report field issues, operational data and voice of the customer data to support continuous improvement programs.

Create, manage and report on plans and schedules of field activities, projects and jobs.

Communicate with other members of the project team and other departments to ensure projects are completed within time and budget constraints.

Coordinate, manage and provide direction, technical support, and supervision to vendors, subcontractors, customer personnel and other resources to facilitate in-field projects. 

Train customers in the proper installation, operation and maintenance of company equipment.

Work with customer to support sales of replacement parts and service.

Work with company HQ Engineers and Specialists to critique and refine technical documentation, system specification and procedures.

 

IV – Knowledge, Skills, Education

Bachelor of Science, Electrical (Automation, Power, Controls, Logic) Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

Greater than five (5) years of experience working with large-scale capital equipment projects.

In depth technical skills and working knowledge of materials and processes used in the manufacture of capital equipment.

In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering.

Working knowledge and experience with Rockwell PLC and HMI

Ability to represent the company professionally under all conditions.

Must have a high commitment to customer service, excellent communications skills and ability to relate to individuals at all organizational levels and all cultures. 

Working knowledge of industrial heat processing equipment, temperature control technology and understanding of PLC controls.

Must possess ability to work autonomously, coordinate resources and delegate tasks effectively.

Working knowledge of Microsoft applications software and Windows based operating systems.

Ability to read mechanical, electrical and P&I engineering drawings.

Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally >50% of the time with 1-4 month duration assignments at client locations.

Proficient verbal and written English and Mandarin.

In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering design skills.

Ability to represent the company professionally under all conditions.

High degree of mechanical aptitude, adept at problem solving and decision-making with ingenuity and deference to business sensitivity.

Working knowledge of industrial heat processing equipment, temperature control technology and understanding of PLC controls.
