Description
We are looking for an outstanding engineering intern who combine highly technical, research and analytical capabilities. As a member of Maps organisation, you will be given the opportunity to contribute
improving software quality, analysing and researching user behaviour base on usage big data and feature development. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong problem solving skills who can contribute in a dynamic team environment.

Requirements
? Master or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
? Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, problem solving and complexity analysis
? Strong programming skills with at least one object oriented programming language
? Experience in big data projects/platforms, excellent knowledge of relational database and Hive will be a plus
? Experience with machine learning technologies, predictive modelling, customer profiling, hypothesis testing and recommender systems will be a plus
? Highly motivated, organized and a “can-do” attitude
? Fluent communication in English
? Must be able to work 32+ hours a week throughout the internship program
? GIS related research will be a plus
? Thorough knowledge of iOS and Mac OS X will be a plus
