Job Description:
The potential candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic R&D Center, collaborating with expert teams to create great products in mice, keyboard, and tablet related categories.
Enthusiasm and passion for design and development is the key, this include creating and testing new solutions and guides to meet design goals for silent product.
Major Duties:
The main area of focus is in design but this covers a broad range of elements:
Research trends, technology, culture, materials and other aspects of silent product design.
Use of measurement and testing equipment, to support Mechanical Engineers, includes acoustic noise measurement procedure improvement, Silent product acoustic spec definition, and search potential solution to reduce silent product’s noise.
User experience testing and qualification about silent product.
Sketches, drawings, report, including presentations
3D modeling, by Pro/e would be a preference.
Software simulation to evaluate silent solutions.
Extensive prototyping concept and skills to verify silent solutions.
Qualification & Skills:
Potential candidate should be graduate level with a Mechanical vibration or Acoustic Engineering degree or similar, candidate must have good knowledge in acoustic area.
An interest in acoustic design and technology is of particular interest.
Knowledge in areas of prototyping, tooling, testing is a plus.
Background:
This is a 2-6 month contract position, duration to be reviewed during interview.
