| 职位描述 | The goal GTA analysis intern is to transform supply and demand knowledge into businesses insights to the traders, commercial and business development teams locally and globally to guide/support their decision making to leverage the BU competitive advantage. For this crop analyst position, the knowledge will be focused on crops physiology, production, policy, and farmers mindset, from our team in the various locations and from his/her own wisdom. 45% One Crop Sector Analysis (Crop production, Farmer economics) Run simple crop models, link it to weather forecast, and market knowledge to write/analyze and to send crop/demand reports finalize the important functions of this role. Adding to it, the usage/challenge the team on analyzes/methodologies & simples models, knowledge sharing in daily work with traders, the analysis of the grains stocks and farmer selling, the frequent read of market and benchmarks reports are other minor functions of this role. Travel to the main China crop regions to gather primary data and information direct from the farmers and local experts, thus the agronomical background plays an important role. 30% Other analysts / crops support, summing knowledge to deliver the best analysis to leverage the business competitive advantage. This would require time and energy to collect and consolidate pieces of data that are not in well tracked in our system today. 15% The usage/buiding of the Cargill China countryside network channel to gather data and create insights to all the BUs 10% Write/Read Crop, Market and Benchmarks reports to the global and local traders and commercial teams | ||||||||||
