General Summary:
Application Services Lead are the primary technical resource for the field sales force, and are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology application stage of the sales process. Working as/in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical adviser and product advocate, the Application Services Lead must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. The Application Services Lead must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
CORE FUNCTIONS:
1. Collaborates with the filed sales and suppliers in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.
2. Manages an assigned geographic sales area or product line to maximize customer satisfaction and sales revenues to meet corporate objectives.
3. Establishes and manages effective programs/projects to coach, appraise and train customers and/or sales personnel (if any).
DETAILS OF FUNCTION:
Primary:
1. Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application.
2. Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
3. Provide design and specification development support to all possible clients.
4. Listen, understand and convey customer requirements.
5. Perform technical/ product training for clients/sales people, estimators, and engineers at targeted accounts.
6. Assist in the design and development of new products and tools necessary to make targeted accounts comfortable and successful at selling solvents related chemical goods.
7. Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company approved databases
8. Travel to project sites to preform start-up, integration, technical issues, and training services.
Additional:
1. Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
2. Cultivate and maintain professional business relationships within target accounts.
3. Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects to accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
4. Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities to help future growth from short- and long-term sales strategies in operating profit perspectives.
REPORTING: Reports directly Customer/Product Development Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A university degree in chemicals, chemical Engineer, or marketing or business studies is preferred.
2. Service-oriented working attitude to access the potential problems/business opportunities.
3. Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
4. Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
5. Excellent business English oral and written communication skills.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Microsoft Office Suite is required.
7. A valid driver’s license (C1).
