  As a result of our global expansion, we're looking for a Carrier Operations Associate for Flexport Asia that will be a part of Flexport Pricing and Procurement Team / Ocean Freight Service Organization. The Carrier Operations Associate will join our growing Carrier Operations Team in Shenzhen Team to deliver sea freight booking services and local logistics services to clients and their suppliers.   What you will do:
  
  -Execute booking and documentation processes with carriers
  -Work intimately with Flexport squads and Flexport software to ensure an effective end to end China export process.
  -Inform the business process and software capability needs to exceed expectations for Flexport squads, Carrier Operations team and Flexport Squads.
  -Identify and contribute to continuous improvement program to improve quality, service, efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  -Contribute to the development and implementation of the software and system to differentiate Flexport operations from the industry.
  -Fill the gap for the carrier operations team as we build from zero to one and as we scale.
  -Live and act with integrity guided by the company values including sustaining a high bar for operational quality and service.

  - Sea freight booking operations experience a plus
  - China export operations experience a plus
