NVIDIA Fast Start College Hire Program
NVIDIA is building the world’s leading AI company and we need Solution Architects to help our customers adopt GPU Deep Learning, accelerated data analytics, and other AI and HPC technologies. As a new or recent college graduate with a technical degree, our Fast Start program will team you up with experienced solution architects for on the job training as you work as part of an NVIDIA account team supporting customers building solutions with our latest technology.
You will spend 18 months rotating quarterly through field teams supporting different customer segments including Hyperscale cloud service providers, automotive, AI startups, government and higher ed, and enterprise customers across all industries. In the process you will become an expert in our Tesla data center products for AI and HPC including the DGX-1 deep learning supercomputer, our Quadro line of professional visualization solutions. You will also have the opportunity to select rotations with our industry business development, product marketing, and engineering teams. And at the end of 18 months, after being exposed to the full scope of our technologies, you will take on a role as a regular solution architect in an area of your choosing.
The ideal candidate will have a solid computer architecture and software foundation, with some GPU-based visual or compute experience, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements. Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and with a team are essential. Experience with GPU deep learning and data sciences is desirable, as is the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinate the setup of experiments, tests, equipment, and otherwise facilitate evaluations that help solve customer problems using GPU deep learning and other NVIDIA technologies
- Working closely with Sales Account Managers to secure design wins, and to manage the support of the product through customer proof-of-concept evaluations
- Establish close technical ties to the customer account, establishing personal relationships to facilitate rapid resolution of customer issues and promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction
- Work closely with the NVIDIA customer account team, and/or product engineering teams during quarterly rotation assignments
- Escalate, as necessary, critical customer issues and provide timely advance warning of critical customer issues that need attention
What we need to see:
- BSc in CS, Math, Physics or related technical field
- Data sciences coursework
- Programming skills in 1 or more high level languages (C, C++, Java, etc.)
- Linux command line and system administration skills
- Comfortable working hands-on in a lab environment
- Comfortable with at least one scripting language (i.e. Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, ...)
- Motivated self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Good presenter with the ability to engage an audience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- GPU deep learning experience using Caffe, TensorFlow, or other DL framework
- CUDA programming experience
- HPC programing experience including MPI, OpenACC, or other parallel programming tools
