We are now looking for a thermal engineer.

Provideand qualify thermal solution for Nvidia's products, balance thermal, acoustic,mechanical, schedule and price factors at the same time.

What you'll be doing:

• Analysis products MRD and discusswith internal customer, provide thermal solution for NV graphic cards.

• Use CFD tool to optimize thermalsolution

• Analysis and qualify acousticperformance of thermal solution

• Balancethermal/acoustic/mechanical/schedule and cost of thermal solution

• Conduct qualification test of thermalsolution

• Search and study new technology,design and setup related test platform to apply new tech in our products

• Debug root cause of thermal relatedissues and improve thermal design process.

• Communicate with different teammember with English.

• Build CFD model of GPU/powercomponents/graphic board and system.

• Calibrate CFD model and comparedifferent solutions thermal performance.

• Co-work with ME to build proE modelof thermal solution, call for prototype sample.

• Setup platform to verify prototypesample thermal performance and calibrate CFD model

• Test fan PQ curve, heat sinkresistance curve.

• Conduct products sound pressure testand analysis sound quality performance.

• Write formal thermal and acousticqualification report for thermal products.

• Setup test platform and rework boardand cooler in lab.

What we need to see:

• Good work attitude anddevote in the work

• Good ability to use CFDsoftware such as Icepak and flotherm to help design, optimize and estimatesolution advantage

• Heat transfer,hydrodynamics or thermodynamics background

• communicate verbally inEnglish

• Experience in using CADtools, including AutoCAD, Pro/Engineering and SolidWorks is desirable
