Job Responsibilities:

• Establish DSP design flow and tools for acoustic engineering group

• Design and implement advanced DSP algorithm on a target hardware to improve acoustic performance of an audio system including both music and voice communication

• Collaborate with system architect, hardware and software engineers by using advanced DSP algorithms and tools to jointly optimize speaker’s acoustic performance in terms of SPL, distortion and power consumption         
  
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Acoustic/Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer science

• Proven track record of published research on audio signal processing in all or some of the following areas

• Adaptive echo cancellation/noise reduction

• Audio source coding

• Audio signal equalization

• Equalization of room acoustics

• 3D audio for AR/VR application

• Be able to communicate or present very clearly and succinctly (in English) to internal and external stakeholders on all technical and non-technical matters to persuade and influence

• Complex problem-solving skill and a can-win attitude

• Consumer audio product experience is a plus
