Job Description

· Collaborate with business lab and customer to identify PSA technology trend, fully understand competitor’s product and technology, buildup adhesive development roadmap, collaborate with CRML on PSA platform technology research and generate IP contribution.

· Follow NMI (New Material Introduction) process to develop new adhesive or improve existing adhesive performance in support of new product scale-up, raw material qualifications, source of supply changes, and cost reduction projects.

·  Develop a partnership, teamwork and a cooperative effort with division lab product engineers and mfg process engineers.

·  Work with product engineer to resolve customer quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

·  Leverage 3M US FMRD resource and capability for the project collaboration and transfer.

 

Requirements:

·  Ph.D. degree majoring in Polymer Science.

·  Strong fundamental knowledge of chemical, polymer, material science and good hands on skill.

·  Strong communication skill and good team work spirit

·  Pass CET-6, good English communication skills both oral and written

·  Microsoft Office proficiency will be preferred.
