Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyse industry trends in Asia Pacific (AP) markets and identify business implication to Ford
- Lead product study and drive cross functional team work (e.g. Marketing, Finance, manufacturing, etc.)
- Assess product competitiveness for Ford and competitors (e.g. Attributes, Feature, Volume, Price, etc.)
- Collect and summarize AP market needs for global product concept development
- Develop well reasoned, high quality papers for management reviews
- Co-ordinate with other regional and global teams including negotiation and status alignment to support key deadline / milestones
- Manage information flow and alignment with key stakeholders including Finance, Functional Engineering teams and other planning functions (Resource Planning, Cycle Planning, Vehicle Planning and Advanced Product Strategy)
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor Degree or greater with initial preference in Engineering, Commerce and / or equivalent
- Automotive background, automotive internship experience and MBA preferred but not mandatory
- Self-motivated, high level of integrity and resilient
- Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
- Flexible mind set, adaptive to uncertainty
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills with ability to work with a global team
- Strong interests in trends inside and outside automotive industry
- Fluent in both oral and written English
