Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop powertrain line-up strategy including hybrid electrified powertrains for Asia Pacific markets
- Develop AP FE compliance plans, especially China Stg V CAFC Compliance Plan: 2020-2025CY
- Wok with JVs such as CAF for China Domestic Fleet
- Maintain and develop Fuel Economy Strategy to assist AP senior management to understand AP Fleet’s FE forecast in key AP Markets to support each Cycle Plan update.
- Assess alternative powertrain technologies to meet future regulatory compliance including fuel economy and pollutants emission
- Support delivery of upstream powertrain program milestones
- Support the assessment of competitive Fleet FE landscape including evaluation of alternative FE options against Brand DNA, vehicle performance, affordability and resource requirements
- Frequent interactions required with cross functional departments (i.e. Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.)
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor degree or above in Engineering (Mechanical or Automotive preferred), or Business Strategy related area
- Fluent in both oral and written English
- Excellent communication skill and demonstrated initiative with integrity, teamwork orientation, and high intelligence level
