Roles & Responsibilities
Be the customer advocate within Engineering, helping deliver designs that meet or exceed customer expectations
Provide Quality & Reliability engineering leadership to Ford Asia Pacific PD engineers
Lead the implementation of Ford Failure Mode Avoidance strategy to ensure a robust and error free design
Drive lessons learned and prevent recurrence actions
Provide coaching to Ford Asia Pacific PD engineers on some specific quality & reliability topics
Develop problem solving skills of Ford Asia Pacific PD engineers to effectively address quality issues
Work towards becoming the subject matter expert for Product Quality & Reliability in Asia Pacific region
Qualifications & Skills Required
· Master degree in engineering preferred
Good analytical skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong influence, facilitation / coaching and interpersonal skills
Good planning and organisational skills
Attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective
Educational background on powertrain or electrical & electronics is preferred
