Principal Accountabilities
35% Positions and Trading
Assist the Trading Manager on covering different areas of risk management for the CASC North Asia including but not limited to:
? Hedging cash purchases;
? Trading futures in DCE and CBOT;
? Arbitrating between cash and futures, including delivery on the exchange;
? Report Open Interest/Trade Volume/carry structures and explore trading opportunities;
? Keep trading position spread sheet updated (Long & Short);
? Give the necessary guidance and learn from the different locations (offices or plants);
? Keep World Trading Group (WTG) and Minneapolis fully informed on major developments in the DCE, cash markets and general environment in China;
? Write daily recaps on the different commodities traded;
? Write weekly recaps for the Chinese Risk Meeting on the different commodities traded.
25% SND Management
? Gather, analyze and input key information concerning the different agricultural products into the local Chinese S&D (supply and demand balance sheet);
? Manage and keep the local S&D up to date. Discuss locally and with the different trading desks in Geneva;
? Make weekly S&D changes report;
? Connect with the different merchants on feed demand, and analyze and report the impacts in the market.
25% Import/Export business
? Daily communication with WTG and customers regarding market developments;
? Conduct agency business for WTG for the different agricultural products;
? Work together with trade execution/accounting/treasury/TSF functions to manage market and customer risk. Keep WTG on the loop.
15% Price Collection Nationwide
? Monitor the different agricualtural products’ prices in key locations, including Northeast origination areas, Dalian, Shangdong, YRB, Fujian and Guangdong;
? Maintain & analyze daily cash prices and correlate them with DCE futures prices and world prices;
? Report price changes in the various regions, more specifically on how price changes affect import and export economics.
Required Qualifications
-Bacholr degree or above
-This job needs Up to 2 years working experience in MNCs

-Knowledge about tanker and dry bulk freight markets;
