MioTech was founded by Jason and Tao, who decided Asia’s financial technology space was underserved and under-researched. Their mission to bring world-class financial services to the region engaged talents with similar minds. The team’s idealism, enthusiasm, and DNA attracted funding from some of the best-known brands in the VC space, including ZhenFund in 2016, and Horizons Ventures one year later which made up the total funding to US$8 million.
