The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Working in a team environment, analyze Storage Center (SC) test failures to determine root cause, correction, and other duties as assigned.
• Update existing test software to validate SC features and requirements.
• Design and code test software to validate new SC features and requirements.
• Document lessons learned, tool usage, and key testing experiences in order to teach/on-board others.
• Learn storage/SAN/SC paradigms, strategies, and features in order to improve the overall SC testing environment.

Essential Requirements

· At least work as intern for 6 months and 4-5 working days per week from Feb.2019

· Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, similar engineering field, or equivalent related experience

· Background in software fundamentals – design patterns, best practices, and FRP

· Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and processes

· Skills in debugging, triaging and resolving technical issues

· Some experience with Java

Desirable Requirements

· Good verbal and written English communication skills needed to interface with Developers, Testers, and Engineering Management

· Ability to work both independently and within a team

· Knowledge of Maven, Gradle, build tools, open source libraries, FreeBSD, RESTful APIs
