Working within the Commodities and Global Markets Group, you will be the business credit team’s lead support in the Hong Kong office which assists the various sales and trading desks in each region that Commodities and Global Markets is active.

The business credit team works closely with a number of stakeholders across the firm including front office staff, risk management groups, technology and Middle Office.? Activity of the team includes producing reports, analysis and tracking primary institutional counterparty activity globally within different trading divisions of Commodities and Global Markets Group, together with delivering solutions to more effectively manage and monitor risk of various [MM1]?trading desks.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day to day management of credit requests, deal with ad hoc queries, review and prepare credit reviews, together with managing system improvements and reviewing new business activity from a credit risk perspective.

To be successful in this role, you will display a high level of analytical capability. You will be able to demonstrate excellent time management and project management skills, ideally gained in a financial services setting. Good written and oral communication skills in English are also required and the ability to confidently converse with stakeholders of all levels. Additional Asian language skills would be a plus. Prior credit experience or knowledge of institutional trading activity across execution and derivatives whilst beneficial are not prerequisite skills.
