Intern (m/f) Key Account Management Asia-Pacific

The KAM (Key account management) team is responsible for managing the critical interface between our key customers’ regional organization and Lufthansa Cargo in the Asia-Pacific region. Our mission is to actively develop long term partnerships and support sustainable growth levels with our key accounts.

The KAM team members are currently based in Shanghai, Peking, Tokyo as well as Singapore and we are looking for an intern in Singapore to join our team and assist with the following tasks:

• Generate customer and business reports
• Prepare presentations for top management review meetings
• Act as a coordinator for the virtual team and organise regular conference calls and workshops
• Interpret the reports and presentations that you have generated, identify trends, organize and present data in a meaningful way
• Support the management of RFQs (tenders) with analysis, consolidation and monitoring
• Support tasks and projects related to Customer Relationship Management 
• Conduct strategic reviews (market, industry, competition etc.)
• Continuously improve working tools to increase efficiency and collaboration for the virtual KAM team

Your profile

• students holding Chinese Citizenship
• Post Graduate preferred, in International Business, Economics and Industrial Engineering or in a comparable study field
• Preferably some practical working experience in the aviation or a related environment or strong interest in aviation and/or freight industry
• Resourceful, sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
• Strong analytical skills and an eye for details
• Good MS Office application skills - especially in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. VBA desirable
• Very good communication skills in English required
• High degree of intercultural awareness
