1.       Job title :  Acoustics Algorithm Engineer

Employee Type: Fulltime

Responsibility:

·         Establish DSP design flow and tools for acoustic engineering group

·         Design and implement advanced DSP algorithm on a target hardware to improve acoustic performance of an audio system including both music and voice communication

·         Collaborate with system architect, hardware and software engineers by using advanced DSP algorithms and tools to jointly optimize speaker’s acoustic performance in terms of SPL, distortion and power consumption    

Qualification:

·         Master degree or above in Acoustic/Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer science

·         Equalization of room acoustics ,3D audio for AR/VR application

·         Good at English

2.       Job title :  Voice Algorithm Engineer

Employee Type: Fulltime

Responsibility:

·         Voice algorithm development verification, validation and tuning at PC level and embedded device level.

·         Closely interact with Category Product Managers and cross-divisional peers (CoC, Automotive, Pro, CTG groups) to identify new ways to improve voice performance.

·         New voice algorithm research and existing algorithm improvement.

·         Complete product’s test and acoustic gating for voice recognition and voice call performance

Qualification:

·         Familiar with speech enhancement algorithm development like AEC, Beam forming, Noise Reduction, AGC, ANC, DOA, VAD etc. Good at matlab, C , Python language.

·         Experience on DNN, RNN, Tensor flow, Pytorch for speech or noise process is preferred.

·         Master's degree with the major of Digital Signal Process, Communication, Math, Computer Science.  

·         Good at English.

3.       Job title :  Acoustics Engineer

Employee Type: Fulltime

Responsibility:

·         Responsible for sound and acoustic design of consumer product and/or micro speaker system, responsible for sound quality of consumer product and/or micro speaker system.

·         Support Product Specification and Program Execution teams in the development of consumer products, define sound and acoustic requirement, and interact with related functions as required.

·         Monitor acoustics testing of new products and components at suppliers and Contract Manufacturers as required.

Qualification:

·         Master's degree or above in electrical or acoustical engineering equivalent.

·         Good at English

4.       Job title :  Hardware Engineer

Employee Type: Fulltime

Responsibility:

·         Carry out feasibility study on new products against requirements. Assist in solution study, evaluation and test.

·         Responsible for the component and module management. Cooperating with an international development team and suppliers, qualify and manage the electrical component by using product lifecycle management system.

·         Creating HW test specifications, perform HW tests and create test reports;

Qualification:

·           Master degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent

5.       Job title :  Mechanical Engineer

Employee Type: Fulltime

Responsibility:

·         Reviews customer request and cooperate with cross function to develop new headphone or microphone.

·         Responsible for detail design of all related mechanical components for all headphone or microphone.

·         Interfaces with Harman Consumer Engineering teams Program Manager on a daily or as needed basis.

·         Review as needed mechanical methods and designs for manufacturing feasibility.

·           Master degree in Mechanical, material science or related field

6.       Job title :  Microphone Engineer

Employee Type: Fulltime

Responsibility:

·         Develop microphone system technology, product prototypes and manufacturing processes to aid external based on Harman internal or 3rd party’s solutions and technologies.

·         Monitor and evaluate new mic system technologies which is suitable for voice communication, voice recognition and high quality recording etc.,

·         Analyze Harman internal projects’ and external customers’ requirements and specifications to propose the appropriate solutions to award the project and execute the engineering function on mic part through the full program cycle

Qualification:

·           Master’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Computer Science or equivalent

7.       Job title :  Software Engineer

Employee Type: Fulltime

Responsibility:

·         A software engineer in this position will focus their time developing and testing software under supervision

·         Analyse existing embedded software to add features, make modifications, fix bugs, and/or port to different platforms.

·         Tests software designs and code at the unit and system level to insure that all requirements are met and the highest software quality is achieved.

·         Works with vendors and other parties to further define requirements and to resolve issues.

Qualification:

·           Master degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.

·           C/C and Linux development experience

·           Good at English

8.       Job title :  DSP Engineer

Employee Type: Fulltime

Responsibility:

·         Develop Harman own sound algorithms per acoustic requirement.

·         Work together with algorithms authors to take over microphone algorithms.

·         Design DSP platforms to cater for different algorithms requirements (MIPS/Memory/Cost etc.).

·         Architect algorithms to various DSP system for product roadmap.

·         Work with Acoustic or Microphone team for algorithm tuning.

Qualification:

• Master degree in Digital Signal Processing, Math, Acoustics, Voice or other related major

·         Good at English

9.       Job title :  Electronics Engineer 

Employee Type: Fulltime

Responsibility:

·         Assist and support Sr. engineer on professional digital audio product like digital mixer, DSP, MCU board design.

·         Fix mass production product design issue.

·         Prototype testing and validation – demonstrate that design works as intended

·         Schematic design and PCB layout review. Test reporting and result analysis

Qualification:

• Master degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.

10.   Job title :  Design Intern

·         Play an active role in our Design as well as Engineering team and be part of an eclectic group of great international environment

·         Be involved in all phases of the design process for CMF, from concept, over strategic, to tactical, and implementation

·         Evaluate costs and MP possibilities

• Develop Harman own sound algorithms per acoustic requirement.
• Research and develop Harman voice algorithm prototype with Matlab like AEC, Noise Reduction etc.
• Implement Sound/Voice algorithms in C/C code.
• Optimize algorithms to various DSP or ARM system for product roadmap.
• Tune voice algorithm together with Acoustic or Microphone team.

Qualifications:

• Postgraduate Year1 or Year2  students in Digital Signal Processing, Math, Acoustics, Voice or other related major
• Sound or voice algorithms development and proven record.
• Experience on digital signal processing, audio/voice algorithm processing like FFT/IIR/FI, AEC, ANC etc.
• Knowledge of common audio interface like I2S, TDM, PDM etc.
• Good at English

12.   Job title :  Software Engineer, Intern

Employee Type:  Intern

Responsibility:

• A software engineer in this position will focus their time developing and testing software under supervision

Qualification:

• Willing to take internship role for 6 months & above; C/C and Linux development project experience is a plus;
• Good written and oral English communication. Good communication skills; Strong troubleshooting skills on problem resolution.

13.   Job title :  Hardware Engineer , Intern

2.  Job Title: Speaker Development Engineer

Responsibilities:

·           Responsibility / accountability for the initiation and development of feasible, cost effective and reliable transducer designs from concept through to production.

·           Participate in the development of common work practices, procedures and design standards with other Audio Systems design groups within Harman Automotive.
