RGA - Data Science Summer Intern
Department：Global R&D
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data analysis by statistical and/or CS programming tools.
2. Conduct data manipulation, model development or other analytical works as requested.
3. Assist project reporting, documentation and slides development.
4. Communicate with the team and assist other daily works.
Requirement:
1. Master/PhD student major in Math, Stats, Physics, Computer Science or other STEM
programs, or other disciplines with strong interest and capability on data analytics. Excellent
undergraduate might be considered.
2. Proficient in at least one of the following programming tools, including R, Python, SAS or
other popular ones. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PPT, Word, etc.
3. Experience in data analytics projects, familiar with regression analysis, data mining, machine
learning, etc. Previous industry experience is a plus.
4. Be able to work for three months or more, at least three days per week.
5. Proficient in English for daily reading, writing, speaking, etc. Knowing another language other
than English and Chinese is a plus.
6. Be cooperative (a team player), a quick learner and with serious attitude.
7. Strong communication skill is a big plus.
