Job Summary
The Fund Accountant Trainee is a core member of the Fund Operations and Services team and the Operations department. She/he is – together with her/his team – responsible for the fund accounting and other responsibilities for our fund of funds and mandates. Reporting to either the Head of Fund Accounting or one of the team leaders, the Fund Accountant Trainee is passionate and demonstrates interest for Private Equity and Accounting, eager to learn and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities

Fund Accounting of the Schroder Adveq fund of funds and mandates
-
Being actively involved in the cash management of our products
-
Processing capital calls and distributions from investees and to investors
-
Entering portfolio company data in our system FIA (eFront) per investment reports
-
Verifying data accuracy and completeness
-
Analysing and determining valuations of investees in our system
-
Ensuring queries relating to fund valuations and reconciliation differences are promptly investigated and resolved
-
Reconciling cash flows and portfolio positions on a monthly basis
-
Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements

Interaction with various stakeholders such as investment companies, fund managers and other internal departments
