Purpose:
It is a 2 year rotation program where the Trainee will seek to understand all aspects of the company while working in several functional areas including sales/marketing, product development, sourcing, human resources, and supply chain management. The trainee will operate effectively in a China environment to aid the organization in achieving its overall business and operating goals. Upon graduation from the program, the Trainee will be promoted to a substantial leadership position and have command of his or her own profit and loss statement or business unit. The Trainee reports directly to the General Manager and President.
Task Dimensions:
• Identify potential suppliers, compile supplier lists, make requests for proposals/pricing, shortlist suppliers based on selection criterion, and validate suppliers' pricing, service quality, terms & conditions, etc.
• Liaise with suppliers to maintain good relationships; continuously replace existing suppliers or sales terms with better ones.
• Identify new products and services that are profitable, in demand, and complementary to company's business strategy and existing offerings.
• Maintain active files on competitors' strengths and weaknesses. (I.e. pricing, products, marketing tactics, etc)
• Research, validate, and implement various marketing approaches in promoting company marketing assets.
• Contact ad companies, negotiate ad placements, monitor ad performance, and adjust marketing approach as necessary.
• Actively identify, and act on, opportunities for process improvements that benefit customers.
• Contribute in the development, design, and improvement of company website.
• Complete work in a manner which models good team membership skills and company values.
• Apply Six Sigma quality tools and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, quality, and quantity of work.
• Perform any task assigned by the manager which the team member is competent to perform.
• Ensure compliance of policies and procedures.
General Requirements for Positions:
• University graduate (Master’s degree) with outstanding academic performance.
• English: CET-6 or higher level, fluent in oral and written English.
• Strong drive to succeed, initiative, and integrity; Openness to change.

• Mental aptitude, goal orientation, and conscientiousness.
