We are looking for passionate and talented research developer interns workin
g on projects for one of the most innovative groups at Microsoft, ATC-adCent
er in Beijing. Your expected internship is 3 months to 6 months, and possibl
y at the end of the term converted to Microsoft Full Time Employee if you wi
sh.

Responsibility:

Your primary responsibility is to participate in the design and the developm
ent of various applied research projects. You will be closely working with t
he researchers at Microsoft adCenter Labs in Redmond, US.

Requirements:

- Proven experience with at least 2 of the following languages: C#, C/C++, o
r Perl, and be proficient with front-end and back-end web technologies, such
as , XML, scripting, and SQL Server (preferably including database d
esign).

- Good problem solving ability, good communication skills, and be CREATIVE.

- Previous experience in developing data mining solutions or applications wi
ll be very valuable.

- Knowledge of machine learning, Web/text mining, user modeling, and statist
ics is preferred.

- Having publications on authoritative conferences / journals is a plus.

- Additional responsibilities may include interacting with researchers, prod
uct team members, and customers to transfer research outcomes to production.
