Department Description:Global ODM Supply Chain
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
Materials Management Activities
Lead M7-M2 material good to's daily & weekly
Identify overall material status
Identify, mitigate/resolve M7-M2 constraints with suppliers (Motorola & External). This include:
Participate in allocation & supplier capacity's planning (for part sharing with Motorola internal products)
Review additional tooling plan (after SA/M3) to support demand upside
Identify 2nd sources required for critical part demand (weekly materials good to is hold to better understand current situation and resolve materials issues).
Oversea and approve the ODM Tooling plan M11-M3
Work with Mechanical Engrg to ensure tooling lead time requirements are satisfied. Ensure MRP material loading and last builds are synchronized to EOL timing
Participate on liability discussions when demand fluctates from 6 mo. build plan.
Ensure EOL Lockdown demand is approved and loaded in Demand Planner (S&OP)
Participate in liability negotiation with suppliers when product EOL.
Ensure E&O reserve approval before physical scrap.
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of Microsoft words, Powerpoint
Knowledge of Oracle ERP system
Strong analytical skill with ability to analyze and interpret data
Excellent communications, interpersonal and preentation skills
Team player and able to work with people at all levels
Able to work well in a fast-pased environment and indepently
