Requirements
Education
-Master or Ph.D. degree from a good university, in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related subjects.
-Knowledge of communications - e.g. project and/or optional courses.
General Work Experience
-Relevant experience in C, and preferably embedded systems is preferred.
-Experience with relevant cellular protocols standards and components (ideally GSM, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSPA, LTE but also for example DECT, PHS) is preferred.
-Experience in communications systems especially software development on L2/L3 protocol is preferred.
-Experience in participating 3GPP standardization meeting is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills
-In-depth system knowledge and experience of 3GPP GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA technologies, especially RRC, RLC and MAC protocol
-Solid understanding of networking concepts and theory.
-Technical writing - able to express ideas clearly and concisely in English words and diagrams.
-Programming skills in MATLAB.
-Skills in design of communications simulation tools.
