Business Group Overview
-Intel's Information Services and Technology Group (ISTG) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. ISTG is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.
Qualifications
- You must be a student currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline. You should commit at least 6 months with 30-40 hours working time per week. Additional qualifications include:
- Sound web development skills including HTML, CSS*, javascript*, Acrobat*, Creative design*, Flash and Photoshop* advanced user*
- Excellent in reading and writing English (Chinese copy writing and editing skill is preferable)
- Database knowledge and SAP* development skills would be an added advantage
- Flexible, initiative, diligent and down-to-earth
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Good teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- In this position, you will be assisting the application development. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Implementing website activities. This includes site development, web programming, graphic localization, all content posting and site maintenance
- Reviewing and editing simplified translation
- Managing the editorial process
- Working closely with web solution manager to facilitate updates to the websites
- Testing solutions: creating test scripts, detailed scenarios with expectations, following through an algorithm to understand what it is going to produce; managing test execution, documentation of results, impact assessment of bugs and fixes
