Interested in customized multi-country marketing research and consulting?

Join ACNielsen (VNU), the largest market research company in the world for a 1
2 month internship in New York and be part of the
 Customized and International Research Department.

As a Project Intern, you will play a role in advising Fortune 500 companies on
 strategic issues like branding and communications, customer satisfaction and 
market entry. You will be exposed to proposal writing, questionnaire design, f
ieldwork management, data analysis, and report writing.
This is an opportunity to use and develop your analytical skills, apply your u
nderstanding of quantitative information and insights into consumers of differ
ent countries and cultures around the world.  At the same time, you will see h
ow high-level strategic business is run in the US and around the world.

Fluency in English required. 
Other qualities preferred: Knowledge of Marketing and Market Research, Basic S
tatistics, good Quantitative aptitude, good Analytical skills, and proficiency
 in MS Office 

One year internship:
Starting in March 2007

Stipend: 
ACNielsen provides a stipend of $1000 per month during the internship.  This s
tipend is subject to regular US taxes.  Please note that this stipend may not 
be sufficient to cover all living expenses in the US and candidates are expect
ed to have additional resources (an additional $500 -$1000 per month) to pay f
or their living expenses while in the USA on the internship.  

The Candidate will be responsible for his or her own visa application fees and
 traveling expenses to and from the US, but ACNielsen will provide the paperwo
rk required for the visa application.
