Job purpose:
As a Certification & Application Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for providing certification and application validation service to internal and external customers. The successful candidate will be provided with an excellent career development plan including international mobility and assignments in Hong Kong, where appropriate.

Key responsibilities
-Certification (type approval) for GSM-GPRS-EDGE-CDMA products: cooperate with laboratories and customer to make quotation, define test plan, provide technical support to get related certification and test report accordingly.
-Validation for Application Engineering: provide validation technical support for trouble shooting, organize and run field trials, validate customer product, elaborate application notes.
-Asset management: define calibration/upgrade schedule for
electronics test equipments in laboratory, maintain equipment database and forecast test equipment calibration campaign in collaboration with external calibration companies.

Key requirements
-Degree/diploma graduate, preferably in Electronics Engineering or Telecommunication Engineering
-Certification and validation experience in wireless telecommunication industry such as , PTCRB, CE, FCC, IC, CTIA, CTA, CCC, SRRC...
-Knowledge of 3GPP standards (GSM, GPRS, EDGE) and CDMA standard.
-Experience in GSM and CDMA development.
-Knowledge of lab equipment (Anite, Agilent, Rohde and Schwarz...)
-Knowledge of UMTS is a plus.
-Responsible, self-initiated,customer oriented and teamwork.
-Good communication skills - both written and oral in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
-Able to travel and work over time.
