The research team of Broadband Network Laboratory (BBN) in The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology starts a cooperative project with HUAWEI to develop Peer-to-Peer (P2P) live streaming and video on demand (VOD) video delivery system. We invite applications for the post of:

Project assistant

To design and develop Peer-to-Peer video streaming applications for research project.

A degree in computer engineering or equivalent; a high level of programming skills, communication skills, presentation and interpersonal skills; and knowledge in Internet, HTML, Windows, UNIX shell scripting, network socket programming, video streaming programming, and ActiveX controls programming required. Relevant working experience preferred.

(Duration: from Dec 2006 and the project is expected to be completed within 12 months.)
