Ph.D. Dissertation Research Program

Description:
Recently there is a notion that network is database. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), on which our research work mainly focus, can also be viewed as a distributive database. What we are interested in is to exploite the distributive/recursive query over WSN. We will have a research project on that. The project will be launched in Sep. 2007.
The Ph.D. candidate will be evolved in this project.

Requirement:
1. Ph.D. candidate, who is majoring in computer science or related.
2. Would have finished his/her classes before Sep. 2007.
3. Good knowledge on wireless ad hoc network/sensor network, especially on networking, MAC protocol.
4. Good knowledge on distributive database.
5. Develop experience with C is preferred.
