Senior Noise & Vibration Analysis Engineer Job Requirements: Perform innovative research and development (R&D) work in the area of noise an d vibration for Carrier products such as air conditioner, heating and refriger ation systems (HVAC&R). Candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team wit h the following responsibilities: • Develop physics-based analytical and computational noise & vibration models • Identify and implement concepts to meet product sound quality & relia bility targets • Communicate progress and results via detailed reports and presentatio ns to program team and management clearly and effectively (requires full profi ciency in written and spoken English) Minimum Qualifications Required: • PhD or MS in acoustics, structural dynamics, mechanical or aerospace engineering or related discipline • Solid theoretical acoustics and vibration background is preferred • Familiarity with SEA, FEA, BEM, Matlab, and other noise and vibration tools • Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills • Outstanding technical depth in acoustics, with strong analytical and modeling skills and a good understanding of experimental diagnostics and val idation. • Technical breadth and ability to relate fluid dynamics, structural dy namics, heat transfer, etc. to noise and vibration. • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in both Ch ina and USA • Honest, strong adaptability, good communication, An entrepreneurial a ttitude towards innovation Preferred Candidates will possess the following: • PhD or MS in acoustics, structural dynamics, mechanical or aerospace engineering or related discipline. • 3+ years of related working experience, preferably in industry, in th e area of analytical and computational acoustics, structural dynamics, structu ral acoustics, noise & vibration control, and sound quality. • Demonstrated experience in laboratory diagnostics, experimental, and signal processing FOR FURTHER INFORMATION OR TO SUBMIT CREDENTIALS PLEASE CONTACT: carrier_aav@
