Senior Noise & Vibration Analysis Engineer
Job Requirements:
Perform innovative research and development (R&D) work in the area of noise 
and vibration for Carrier products such as air conditioner, heating and refr
igeration systems (HVAC&R). Candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary te
am with the following responsibilities:
    o Develop physics-based analytical and computational noise & vibration 
mode
ls
    o Identify and implement concepts to meet product sound quality & 
reliabili
ty targets
    o Communicate progress and results via detailed reports and 
presentations t
o program team and management clearly and effectively (requires full profici
ency in written and spoken English)
Minimum Qualifications Required:
    o PhD or MS in acoustics, structural dynamics, mechanical or aerospace 
engi
neering or related discipline
    o Solid theoretical acoustics and vibration background is preferred
    o Familiarity with SEA, FEA, BEM, Matlab, and other noise and vibration 
too
ls
    o Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication 
skil
ls
    o Outstanding technical depth in acoustics, with strong analytical and 
mode
ling skills   and a good understanding of experimental diagnostics and valid
ation.
    o Technical breadth and ability to relate fluid dynamics, structural 
dynami
cs, heat transfer, etc. to noise and vibration.
    o Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in both 
China 
and USA
    o Honest, strong adaptability, good communication, An entrepreneurial 
attit
ude towards innovation
Preferred Candidates will possess the following:
    o PhD or MS in acoustics, structural dynamics, mechanical or aerospace 
engi
neering or related discipline.
    o 3+ years of related working experience, preferably in industry, in 
the ar
ea of analytical and computational acoustics, structural dynamics, structura
l acoustics, noise & vibration control, and sound quality.
    o Demonstrated experience in laboratory diagnostics, experimental, and 
sign
al processing
