UK Masterplug Ltd is a privately owned British company, with a turnover of app
roximately $100 million. In the UK’s electrical accessory market, Masterplug 
is the market leader.

Now UK Masterplug has made investment in Shanghai and has established Masterpl
ug SH Rep Office as well as Masterplug Shanghai Ltd, which need many talent pe
ople to join us. 

Job Description 
-Responsible for design/development, analysis, CAD simulation and verification
 testing of electrical components & modules 
-Electrical module ownership including option, accessories and kits release, r
eliability enhancement, continuous improvement and production support
-Drive and achieve cost reduction target through material costing and quoting 
evaluation, alternative parts/material recommendation/qualification and design
 modifications
-Formulate and execute engineering and design verification test plans.
Generate design specifications and initiate engineering change orders
-Participate in new product innovation process from simple to complex designs


Requirements 
-Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering,  1-3 years relevant experience
 in electrical industries preferred
-Significant practical experience in mechanical design, construction and testi
ng with a solid understanding of functional relationship of individual compone
nts and electrical systems, especially safety code application
-Strong analytical problem-solving skills and proficiency in CAD software and 
simulation tools such as Pro-E (3d solid model), AUTOCAD, etc.
-Good knowledge of mechanical parts & Electrical accessiories evaluation and q
ualification
-Good understanding of manufacturing process for sheet-metal, plastic parts, c
astings and machined parts
-Proactive, innovative and result-oriented team player
-Good oral and writing knowledge of English language to communicate directly w
ith our Headquarters 
-Willing to make customer visit
