    China Cascade Interactive is looking for interns during the winter holiday
 to help with Product Management, Web Design and PHP/Java development.  We’re
 an early stage Internet company with operations in several countries, buildin
g the next generation platform for publishing on the web.  Our site is live ou
tside of China, and we are rapidly localizing and customizing the site for Chi
na.  Some of these positions could become full-time after the holidays.

    Product managers—travel and cosmetics
    Are you a passionate user of China’s community sites?  Do you have strong
 opinions about what is being done well and poorly online in China today?
We’re looking for people to define the features of our new site and to manage
 all aspects of getting it built.  You’ll need to talk to users on similar si
tes, decide what features are the most important, and define these in detail. 
 You’ll work closely together with a web designer and a developer.  At the en
d of the holiday, we expect your site will be ready to launch.
Two positions are available:  one for a person with a deep interest in travel,
 and one for a person who is passionate about cosmetics.
Background required:
- Current Fudan student
- Passionate user of Chinese community sites (BBS, blogs, etc.), and of the In
ternet in general
- Prefer some experience designing or building web sites
- Ability to speak English is helpful

    Web Designer
    Do you enjoy designing Internet sites?  Do you have clear ideas about how 
best to structure pages and create a pleasant, easy user experience?
We’re looking for people to design the look and feel of our new site and to h
elp define the features.  Working closely with a product manager and a develop
er, you will define all aspects of the sites look and feel: the page structure
, color and design.  Then you will write the HTML code to produce each page.  
At the end of your internship, we expect your pages will be ready to launch.

Background required:
- Current Fudan student
- Passionate user of Chinese community sites (BBS, blogs, etc.), and of the In
ternet in general
- Knowledge of basic web design tools such as HTML, Flash, etc.
- Prefer some experience designing or building web sites
Two positions are available.

    Software Developer
    Do you have a deep understanding of Internet technologies, such as PHP, Ja
va, HTML and Perl?  Do you enjoy building sites that could be used by millions
 of people?
    We’re looking for people to develop core modules for a cutting-edge Inter
net site.  You will work with a product manager and a web designer to define t
he relevant features and then have complete responsibility for coding a produc
tion-ready section of code.  At the end of your internship, we expect your mod
ules will be ready to launch.
Background required:
- Current Fudan student
- Experience developing Internet sites
- Solid skills and experience writing code in Unix, PHP, HTML and Javascript

- Experience with C and with MySQL is a plus
- Solid English language skills.
