We are currently seeking 1 student to join us for the internship program (6 months tentatively) with the Purchasing Department. S/he will be responsible for:

l        Responsible for procurement in Information Technology – hardware, software & services – and R&R service across China IFX sites

l        Market evaluation – regular products, supplier base, trends etc. – sourcing, price negotiation and bid evaluation

l        Controlling e.g. enforce respective processes, contract management

l        Track purchasing price variance and align the purchases with global and regional purchasing strategies

l        Coordinate with internal customers on demands and requirements

l        Determine vendor selection process, assessments and qualification of suppliers and ad-hoc assignments.

Interns who are exceptional in caliber and prove to be an asset to the company may be offered the opportunity for a full-time position upon completion of his/her 6-month internship.

Competency Requirement:

l        Senior Student (who will graduate on 2007) from prestigious university, majored in any discipline, EE is preferred.

l        Strong communication & negotiation skills

l        Have strong analysis ability and keen insight on the market environment

l        Good spoken and written skills in both Mandarin and English

l        Be proficient with Excel, Word, Power Point, IE, and Outlook

l        Good command of communication skills

l        Proactive, accountable, good team-player, quick learner with outgoing character.

The time is from Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm
