It all started with a small craftsman’s workshop in Wuerttemberg. Just five employees were working for Johann Matthaeus Voith when he took over his father’s locksmith business in Heidenheim in 1825. Until January 1st, 1867, J.M. Voith was officially founded. More than a third of the world’s entire paper production is manufactured on Voith paper machines. Voith Turbo develops and produces sophisticated drive technology. On February 22nd, 2001 Voith Turbo Power Transmission (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. （VTCN as follows）was officially founded in Shanghai by Voith Turbo as a wholly owned foreign enterprise. We are offering in China with high-tech products which are fast, safe, quiet and comfortable, saving energy and reducing emissions. In the fiscal year of 03/04, the sales was 85 million RMB, the employees were 35. In the fiscal year of 04/05, the sales was 98 million RMB, the employees are 45.
