- Position Description:
General Purpose
Acts as an internal specialist in agreed method and\or tool area including support and facilitation in quality improvement activities and projects.
Main Responsibility Areas
Manages quality related issues and actively solves quality problems in a specific area of expertise including related project management. Responsible for investigation, selection and facilitation of existing and new quality methods and tools for wider use. Assures compliance to in-house and\or external specifications and standards e.g.ISO regulations. May support and coach other quality specialists.
Key Tasks
Manages and leads incoming quality assurance activities and non- conforming material inventory in the factory.
Manages component quality improvement processes in the factory.
Analyses component quality issues, handles claims.
Contributes to the supplier quality improvement process.
Trains and coaches factory and iHUB personnel in component quality issues.
Contributes to Incoming Quality Control strategy and ensures its implementation.
Cooperates in local and global quality management projects.
Requirements:
• Experience in either plastic moulding / plastic tooling / metal fabrication / process industry; or in semi-conductor industry esp in the backend operations; camera head and/ or LCD assemble.
• Hands-on experience in respective field of work is a must
• Possess capabilities in project management is an advantage
• Able to work independently
• Knowledge of SPC is an added advantage
