Job Description:
SCM defines, develops and implements initiatives that will improve configuration management processes by troubleshooting the configuration management issues from employees, internal and external SCM training delivery; Enhancing/Maintaining SCM system and tools; Developing tools for SCM activity automation; Performing baseline and audit and Perform software builds if appropriate. HP-UX, Windows system administration is required as well.
Responsibilities:
Development and support of ClearCase, ClearQuest, CVS etc.
Work in a fast paced environment with multiple teams in a large organization (software development, QA, Project/Release Management, Build and Release, etc)
Daily build and weekly release work
Participate the work of build QA processes and ensure they are followed
Push team Process Improvement continuously
Requirements:
Knowledge on version control system, CleaseCase, CVS preferred
Knowledge on defect tracking system, ClearQuest
Oracle / SQL experience
Release skills, like Ant
Knowledge of NT and UNIX scripting and administration
WebSphere or Tomcat application server administration is a plus
CMM knowledge a plus
Good communication skills and being a team player
Good English language skills, both written and spoken
Proven ability to handle pressure & stressful environments
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
