Our Client is a global advanced materials company which develops and manufactures advanced composite materials for aerospace markets. The Company’s core capabilities are in the areas of polymer chemistry formulation and coating technology. The Company’s manufacturing facilities are located in several location in USA and Europe including in Singapore and China.
Position: Composite Technical Sales Engineer
Coverage: China Region
Position Based: No specific, depend on the candidate’s huKuo
Reporting to: Sales Director, based in Singapore
Responsibilities:
• Plan and develop aerospace composite sales to customers in China
• Build and maintain long term business relationships with different levels of employees in customer organizations with regular visits to customers in China
• Work with sales, operations, materials personnel and customers to resolve support issues and new requirements from customers.
• Identify new business opportunities with regular visits to all levels of personnel at customers including engineering/product development and purchaser.
• Establish and manage customers and government contacts relationships
• Obtain customers forecast information.
• Feedback competitive market information.
• Support product introduction efforts and provide regular product presentations to customers.
• Provide and coordinate technical service to customers in material applications and processing.
• Handle customer complaints including delivery, quality and service issues.
• Impart technical knowledge to peers to heighten Company’s presence at customers.
Requirements:
- Basic Degree or Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Polymer Science or Chemistry
- Minimum 2 years of aerospace or composite material experience
- Preferably working in aerospace in industry
- 1-2 years hands-on characterization, development or process engineering experience in polymer, advanced composites and/or microelectronics, substrate, flex or PCB industry is an advantage
- Able to carry out frequent travel within China or overseas
