A world famous German Company is now looking for candidates to join their Elec
tric Power Team. Please find the job description below.  
  
Position: Segment Application Engineer--Electric Power

Objective:
Segment Application Engineer will be responsible for application and in-depth 
technical support for relevant Segment business. This position requires an ind
ividual with strong technical and commercial skills relating to relevant Segme
nt. The individual will support Segment managers to develop and implement mark
eting program to achieve the segment business goal. At the same time, the indi
vidual will develop the typical Segment application to support channels and cu
stomers, track big projects with sales team.

Responsibility:
1. Develop and implement plans to promote relevant products and applications t
ogether with Segment managers in specific territory, support on marketing acti
vities, such as road show, seminars etc. 
2. Support Segment sales engineer to develop business in technical and commerc
ial side. 
3. Create application specific sales tools (drive typical wiring, proposal tem
plate, application notes, etc). 
4. Support developing project proposals and participate in technical/commercia
l discussion/negotiations with customers for big projects. 
5. Provide pricing information to sales team.
6. Assist Segment Manager / Sales Manager to identify, quality and appoint req
uired solution providers for relevant segment.
7. Define and coordinate special customer product modifications.
8. Analyze common product problems and coordinates solution.
9. Develop training curriculum and provide application training to Segment sal
es engineers, Sales engineer and channels. 
10. Troubleshooting and fault analysis, Onsite support in case of emergency. 


Requirements:
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Electric Automation/Industrial Automatio
n/Automation Control/Electrical & Mechanics or relevant area.
2. At least 4 years working experience in above fields. 
3. Familiar with application of electric, components or apparatus in relevant 
Segment. 
4. Familiar with relevant segment trend in China.
5. Experience in design institute is an advantage. 
6. Good writing and presentation skills. 
7. Good command of oral and written English. 
8. Good IT skills; Good command on office, AutoCAD is preferred. 
9. Good team work spirits.
10. Good communication skills.
11. Be willing to travel and work under high pressure.
