- Supports the application and development processes to analyze, design, troubleshoot, implement and enhance hardware systems.
- May use analytical theories and methodologies to investigate, analyze, design, program, document, enhance, implement and maintain hardware products.
Working Partners / Contacts:
- Project Managers, other engineers, technicians, designers, PQM, manufacturing planners, purchasing, SQM, business development, reliability testing, product test, colleagues from other locations
Tasks:
Maintenance, enhancement, testing and support of existing electrical hardware.
- Design, develop, and implement electrical hardware solutions while adhering to manufacturing capabilities.
- Directs the testing, root cause analysis and modification of electrical hardware.
- Participates in the development of estimates for task duration, supporting the process for developing and maintaining schedules, cost and quality in projects with a moderate level of complexity.
- Is involved in the quality process by the rigorous and detailed execution of module, sub-system and system test procedures.
- Develops documentation in the design development process. (e.g. technical specification, FMEA, test specification, validation document
- Participate in reviews of highly complex specifications and other documentation to determine hardware engineering requirements.
- Provide general guidance or training for lower level support staff or external employees.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing when needed
