职位描述/要求：

APCO’s internship program seeks to provide students with a valuable and substantive work experience and strives to involve the interns in all aspects of the company. APCO’s interns become integral team members on a multitude of accounts, providing critical support while learning more about the industry as a whole.

SUMMARY: An intern is responsible for supporting assigned staff on all projects. Specific responsibilities may include Internet research, mailing coordination, database development and call downs for client events. Interns report directly to assigned project staff and the Intern Coordinator.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The following are specific duties assigned to interns and are performed on a daily basis.

Conduct industry and/or client research
Assist Project staff with tasks including but not limited to:
- Mailings
- Database development
- Event coordination
- Draft client materials

OTHER: An intern is also encouraged to attend practice group, staff and brainstorm meetings, as well as to get involved in the company’s social events. Overall, an intern is encouraged to play an integral part of the company and of any project team, and every effort is made to ensure his/her experience at APCO is a substantive and positive one.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Basic knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties and responsibilities successfully.

Bachelor's degree or in progress; some relevant professional or intern experience
Good basic writing ability
Good basic verbal skills
Professional demeanor
Ability to organize and multi–task project requests
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as to work independently; positive, flexible attitude that will lend itself to client service
