Background
Founded in 2003, the mission of the A.S.R.C is to develop a software applied research capability on a national and on an international scale that will make A.S.R.C the partner of choice to develop new ideas and innovative products, enhancing AIT\'s reputation as a centre of excellence for Software Engineering.

Research Interest
The development of middleware capable of adaptive and context aware distribution of heterogeneous data to core and edge nodes over Next Generation Networks (NGNs).

Projects
The A.S.R.C is currently undertaking collaborative industry/academic research activities on behalf of the following companies:

Ericsson
3Touch
Mailbrand Ireland
Portomedia
Eircom
