Description of the job
The R&D Application Engineer consults on a regular basis with our customers, resellers and partners to better understand their needs and requirements for our ESPRIT software. From this knowledge and understanding, he collaborates with CAD/CAM Software Engineers to create designs and specifications for functionalities that need to be implemented. His responsibilities include writing of software specifications, following up with the Software Engineer to validate specifications, quality control and sometimes initial implementations at customers to test new functionalities. The R&D Application Engineer may from time to time create prototypes or program functionalities using Visual Basic or other languages.
