Job Title:Capital Project Engineer(Capital Planner)
Location:Song Jiang
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan all capital projects from initial inception through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and final handover.
Produce a high level plan covering all projects to enable them to be prioratised, resource levels forecast (all disciplines) and resource leveling to be identified.
Efficient use of the SAP systems to organize, track, display and communicate work at all phases of a project
Build detailed plans to properly communicate the execution of work.
Work with Engineers / Stores to enable accurate plan of long lead deliverables for activities
Work with discipline engineers, startup coordinators and contractors to ensure that timeframe allocated in the capital plan is realistic and achievable
Liaise with Plant reps / team leaders / Project Co coordinator to ensure that project plan timelines are acceptable to all parties and business needs
Work with the Maintenance Team Leader to ensure there are no clashes between Capital construction activities and maintenance activities in all areas
Work with the Maintenance Team Leader to ensure that Capital equipment which is required to be checked by DC Shop personnel is included in weekly plans to ensure a minimum disruption of maintenance planned work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant needs to have an eye for detail, highly motivated; customer focused and enjoys interacting with other DC groups.
Experience in use of project planning
1.Understanding of project management principles.
2.Knowledge of SAP PS module
3.Excellent communication skills.
4.Good organizational and time management skills.
5.Good inter-personal relationship skills.
6.Ability to estimate maintenance activity resources.
7.MS Office suite of software.
8.MS Project
