Great career opportunities are now available in the quickly expanding Cisco China R&D Center (CRDC) in Shanghai. We are seeking highly motivated software development engineers, technical leaders and engineering managers to join the Cisco Central Engineering diagnostics software development team.
As part of the Cisco Central Engineering global development work force, this software/firmware development team develops design verification software and firmware for a wide range of Cisco routers and switches, and assumes the following responsibilities:
-The team will design and develop component and system level diagnostics software/firmware for system, board, FPGA and ASIC design verification and validation in engineering and manufacturing.
-Team members will be responsible for the development of software system infrastructure, embedded software and firmware, device drivers, test library, and other diagnostics test software components
-Participates on a project team of engineers responsible for the specification, design, development, test, enhancement, and sustaining of Cisco routers and switches.
-Work closely with HW design, SW development and manufacturing teams and provide inputs to the design team on Design-For-Testability (DFT)
