System Validation Engineer
Responsible:
Work in a newly established R&D center with a dynamic, stimulating environment, competitive compensation and plenty of opportunities to grow professionally. Validate STB systems and products for various markets and operators, especially cable, terrestrial and IP operators.
?System validation plans (Definition, execution)
?System field tests (Definition, execution)
?Customer environment simulation
?Acceptance (System, loader, HDMI...)
?Bug tracking & tracing (PVCS Tracker)
?Internal suppliers management (Tools&Stream, ...)
?Field customer support (Exhibitions, pre-sales, ...)
?Competitive analysis (features & performances benchmarking)
?Certifications (EMC&safety, (under construction))
Education and Skills
?Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
?Experience in system validation, testing and product deployment of STB products.
?Experience in test automation is a plus.
?Good understanding of the overall STB systems as well as the major components of the systems.
?Good understanding of DVB systems (including head end)
?Understanding of the DSS system is a plus.
?Experience with STB middleware and UI development.
?Experience with various CA systems and loaders is a strong plus.
?Good communication skills in English and Chinese.
?Experience with C/C++, and/or with script language is a plus
?Frequent travels worldwide requested.
?Good interpersonal skills and communication capability are all required.
?Fluent English is essential
