Product manager of a Travel community site
Are you a passionate user of China domestic community sites? Do you have a de
ep interest in travel? Do you have strong opinions about what is being done w
ell and poorly online in China today?
We are looking for people to define the features of our new site and to manage
all aspects of getting it built. You'll need to talk to users on similar sit
es, decide what features are the most important, and define these in detail.
You'll work closely together with another product manager, a web designer and
a developer.
Our company, China Cascade Interactive,is an early stage Internet company with
operations in several countries, building the next generation platform for pu
blishing on the web. Our site is live outside of China , and we are rapidly l
ocalizing and customizing the site for China . This position has the potentia
l to become a full-time job in the future.
Background required:
-Current university student
-Passionate user of Chinese community sites (BBS, blogs, etc.), and of the Int
ernet in general
-Experience designing or building web sites
-Solid spoken and written English
Work time:
You'll need to work for 20 hours per week.
