The Graphic Artist is responsible to produce finished artwork based on the approved layout in an efficient and effective manner, as well as to assist creative to develop layout under the guidance of Art Director.
Main Responsibilities
To fully understand the creative requirement and to discuss with Art Director should there be any particular query or input;
To produce master artwork in both vertical and horizontal format based on the approved layout and copy;
To produce various sizes of artwork based on the approved master artwork;
To assist creative in developing layout under the close supervision from Art Director;
To do minor photo retouching and/or color correction based on the requirement from creative;
To print out finished artwork for approval by relevant parties;
To cross check with Print Producer on printing specification, especially for 3-dimensional item, and to produce dummy ensuring specification is correct before sending out for color separation;
To out source scanning of high resolution picture;
To out source designated color separation house for film output after final artwork is approved by client;
To write CDR and/or provide alternate format when required by Account Handlers;
To file all finished artwork to CDR for storage by Studio Manager.
